A couple of press releases this morning from one of my favorite gummint agencies, the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). The first involves a nearly $800,000 grant to the government of the Mexican state of Puebla to “evaluate the feasibility of expanding and rehabilitating the water supply, wastewater and drainage management infrastructure in the Valsequilo watershed area.” The USTDA press release says: “Due to their proximity to Mexico City, the States of Puebla and Tlaxcala are considered key regions for Mexico’s development; however, environmental conditions prevent the States from maximizing economic potential.” The purpose of the grant is to … Continue reading Tax Dollars Well Spent
