In response to my “wonder[ing] what would happen if other drivers stopped and surrounded the cop [who’s pulled over a serf] rather than speeding past,” David Maharaj, our correspondent in Canada, writes,
A surround a cop incident took place two days ago in the area where we currently reside. My wife and myself were out jogging in the evening when we stumbled upon that very scene. I immediately joined the fray, of course… In this case two goons were manhandling someone who appeared inebriated. A crowd gathered and was questioning the tactics of the goons as I arrived. One cop became extremely agitated, while the other, I kid you not, called for backup.
Yee-haw! Put these thugs on the defensive, and keep them there! By the way, I confirmed with Mr. Maharaj that Canada arms its cops just as the US does, and he responded that they are not only armed but dangerous.

arrived with sirens blasting. We were then told to disperse immediately, or names would be taken.
Ooooohhh. Names would be taken! The State’s ultimate threat!
Who knows whether Mr. Maharaj and company saved a life here? Meanwhile, Our Rulers consider us the enemy. It’s time we serfs realize that and stick together, helping and protecting one another from these unspeakable savages.
