Thanks to Trace Mayer for alerting me to his interviews about the Austro-funded new movie, Soul Surfer. It’s based on the true story of a champion girl surfer who has her arm bitten off by a shark, and yet comes back to be a champion again. Trace says the film is both moving and exciting, and a victory of courage and will (and movie-making) very much worth seeing.
