“We are a far more divided society than we realized” [NYT’s David Brooks, faux “conservative” bought and paid for, calling for a third party funded by the usual suspects]
Who the Hell are “we”? The hacks that the Billionaire Blogs hire to make conservatism look as stupid as possible?
Here’s the truth (evaporated long ago in NYC): David’s “We” are a thoroughly corrupted elite, a desiccated cadaver leeching blood from the common man — in fact, “we” aren’t divided at all, “We” need the slave labor and taxes of those “Deplorables” to keep our Bipartisan Hot Tub filled and frothing to the brim.
The elites hate us but depend on us. Ungrateful scum, they are afraid that we will drain their Hot Tub.
Brooks and his secular pagan cohorts are fortunate that it is the “deplorables” who cling to our Bibles. Were the opposite true, pagan deplorables would be getting ready the thousands of guillotines, like those that covered France with the blood of a million Christian martyrs.
But we won’t. Christians make such good citizens! They obey Caesar! And they don’t kill (See Ten Commandments – it’s more than a movie).
But Aquinas reminds us that righteous anger, rebellion, and even tyrannicide are legitimate options for a holy people.
