Solidifying Its Triumph Over Liberty and Serfs Who Fly

In response to “The TSA Is Coming! The TSA Is Coming!” and the agency’s threat to conduct “more rigorous” “groin scrutiny,” Alan Cassidy writes, “During the Clinton-era Balkans wars, I remember one of the atrocities they reported was using rape as a ‘weapon of war’ against the subjugated population. These pat-downs are something like that, used against their occupied lands here.” Indeed.

And Michael Geary notes, “The new ‘enhanced’ pat down, coming on the heels of their recent announcement that there will be no more PreCheck free rides, tells me the plan is to start making it as ugly as they can for those not willing to pay the fee and submit the biometric information for PreCheck. I’m expecting an ongoing series of outrage stories to hit the media, with a focus on women and video documentation, to reinforce the point. PreCheck! It’s so much easier if you’d just submit!”

As always, my advice to anyone hopeful of avoiding the TSA’s sexual assault is to boycott commercial flights. I realize many of you can’t, however: your job depends on your visiting far-flung clients; you must fly to visit a doctor who specializes in your rare disease; your elderly mother refuses to move from New York to join you in California. If the TSA gate-rapes you, and you are able to write me (some victims are so traumatized they cannot write or speak or even think about it until months or years later) with a description, please do. I’m especially keen to know how the current pawing differs from the agency’s previous attacks.
