Where was the Republican Party when the US Patriot Act was passed in the middle of the night with very little time for anyone to read it? Where was the Republican Party’s opposition to warrant-less searches, seizure of library records and credit-card purchases, among other privacy violations? The GOP is concerned about privacy? Give me a break.
