Santa Barbara Killings

The young man who went on a rampage and killed a number of women college students allegedly had made some earlier videos expressive of his disappointment that girls showed no interest in him. His videos spoke of the “unfairness” and “injustice” of it all. Based on what has thus far been reported on television, this man did NOT say: “guns are forcing me to do what I really do not want to do; guns are forcing me to kill others.” This point will be overlooked by the gun-control league, whose members wish to deprive potential victims of a means of protecting themselves; the same control-freaks who, in other contexts, continue to preach to immature and troubled minds the dogmas of “fairness” and “justice” and the violent enforcement of expectations on others. If we are desirous of understanding the causal connections of events in our lives, does any of this offer insight?
