It was interesting to hear FOX break into its XM feed with the news that a “full, running evacuation” of the Capitol and the White House was underway, with “agitated police” ordering officials and staff to hot-foot it out of the area and run to Union Station. FOX did assure a worried populace that “our nation’s elected leaders are being taken to safe, undisclosed locations.” The reason for what a senator called “the panic” was a single-engine Cessna from North Carolina straying into the huge no-fly zone over DC.
