Our Rulers Renounce Protecting Us from “Practically Nonexistent” Dangers

Texas and 10 other states are suing the Obama administration over its directive to U.S. public schools to let transgender students use the bathrooms and locker rooms that match their gender identity.”

Before proceeding to the main point, let’s pause to savor the incredibly biased description of that lawsuit. Those poor trannies. All they want is to “use the bathrooms and locker rooms that match their gender identity”; deviants who hope to see—and perhaps do a whole lot more to—naked girls would never exploit this unparalleled lunacy and dictatorship, would they?

At any rate, the  article later mentions that the Feds now disdain “threat[s] that are practically nonexistent”: “Supporters say such measures [as North Carolina’s requiring ‘transgender people to use the public bathroom that corresponds to the sex on their birth certificate’] are needed to protect women and children from sexual predators, while the Justice Department and others argue the threat is practically nonexistent…”

Correct me if I’m wrong, but haven’t Our Rulers executed an about-face here? Isn’t almost all of their meddling in our lives based on exactly that premise, that the government must squelch every threat, however remote? Indeed, combating infinitesimal peril forms the basis for their entire War on Terror: “In the United States, an individual’s likelihood of being hurt or killed by a terrorist (whether an Islamist radical or some other variety) is negligible.”

Hot diggity! As Leviathan decrees “gender-neutral” bathrooms across the country because the threats of voyeurism, rape, etc, are ” practically nonexistent,” we should also  expect an end to the Global War on Terror, the abolition of the execrable TSA, and the recovery of all our other freedoms lost to the “practically nonexistent” risk of terrorism.
