Rothbard and Atheism

Murray was an agnostic, not an atheist, and a very pro-Catholic one, ascribing to the church almost everything good in our civilization, including the belief in the ultimate worth of the individual and the very idea of liberty, neither of which existed BC. He loved Catholic culture as well, and was a real expert, for example, on the Baroque churches of southern Germany, which he considered the most glorious architecture in the history of man.
