Writes Karen De Coster: “At 3:30pm today, I was at work and in a meeting, in a large conference room with many windows, on the 21st floor. I work downtown, and the conference room has a window at the short end of the room. Out this window, from where I sat, you can see a direct shot right down the Detroit River, along with the bridge that connects Detroit and Canada. A great (and distracting) view.
“So we’re in a meeting with our auditors, thus everyone is somewhat poker-faced. The mood is real serious. Suddenly, my boss interrupts and points out the window and says, ‘Hey, look at that.’ A plane was circling right off the river and right past our building with a huge ‘Ron Paul Revolution’ sign. People looked and smiled, and I suspect by their faces they seemed to know about him. I couldn’t help myself and exclaimed, ‘Hey, Ron Paul, cool! That’s the guy!’ The whole room stopped and looked at me, and I just threw my arms up and said, ‘Well? What other candidate is doing this stuff? Isn’t this great?’ Umm, back to the meeting.”
