A “Boston Free Speech Rally” is scheduled. Demonstrations in order to express political views appear to be growing in size, intensity and frequency. An earlier sign was the large Women’s March on Washington. There have been numerous protests against Trump, and these are tabulated. The number is very large. The 60s saw many demonstrations for a variety of causes. The 70s were pretty wild. Relative quietude set in thereafter and lasted until now.
