Running under David Gregory’s show on MSNBC is the banner “Economic Meltdown.” Gregory is clearly nervous. After all he has inside info: his wife is a high official of Fannie Mae.
The Fed & co. have put us into a global depression. Such a horror makes political revolution possible, in all Western countries. In he US, it could be New Deal II, with a vast step-up in American Fascism. Or we could step back from the abyss, and towards peace, freedom, free markets, and prosperity. If only the prophetic and courageous Ron Paul were running as an independent. People are ready for real change. As Tweedledee and Tweedldum struggle for power, with almost exactly the same program, Ron could be making History. It wasn’t right for him, he felt, and given his political skills, that has to be determinative. And yet, if only…
