Last night I was surfing the TV. At one point I surfed past some footage on the Falluja seige, immediately followed by History Channel program on the Alamo. Then it hit me, George Bush = Santa Anna. Natalie Maines, of the Dixie Chicks, was right to be, “ashamed the President of the United States is from Texas.” Bush doesn’t represent the defiant Texan spirit at the Alamo or Goliad.
