In the Topeka public library, I found two books written about 1949 or 1950 by a young, heavy-set radio announcer named Paul H. Aurandt, who’d been living and working, as I recall, in or around Tulsa, Oklahoma. His picture was on one of the dust jackets (he sort of reminded me, as I think back, of a Joshua Goldberg.)
