Karen, you may be right that Reason turned down the Cathy Young piece, but I don’t think you can compare Reason and LRC. The relationship between the “owner” of Reason and its writers and the “owner” of LRC and its writers is completely different. And for the record, Cathy Young is listed as a “Reason contributing editor” and claims to be “a moderate libertarian” who favors “fairly minimal government intervention both in the economy and in social and personal life.”
