Adam Young is beginning to see why Murray Rothbard called Wm. F. Buckley, Jr. a “totalitarian socialist” after Buckley argued, in the 1950s, that America needed to construct “a totalitarian bureaucracy within our shores” to “fight” the Cold War. That’s why he worked diligently to destroy the genuine conservativism of the Old Right and put in its place, probably with the help of CIA money, its statist, totalitarian, neocon replacement.
