A neurologist who has seen Terri Shiavo’s brain scan has been all over television saying that she has a brain that is comparable to that of a 75-year-old woman. So it’s simply untrue that she has no brain matter. Since the state has taken the husband’s word without any evidence whatsoever that she wants to die, then I would advise all 75-year-old women out there, or their loved ones, to make out their living wills as soon as possible.
