Andrew Sullivan’s remarks regarding the “Rockwell Brigade” and the comments by smear artist David Bernstein have revealed Bernstein’s real M.O. Sullivan quotes Bernstein as saying that a Ron Paul presidency could be good or bad for libertarianism. It could be bad, he says, if various unsavory characters are attached to the libertairian label by the public, such as those who advocate the Jefffersonian principle of government by consent.
