Regarding Dubya’s speech at the New Lincoln shrine in Springfield, Illinois, I have written several articles on LRC quoting Bush-ists as invoking Lincoln’s ideology to “jutify” perpetual warfare for abstract ideas, such as “democracy in the Middle East.” This is pure Jacobinism, plain and simple.
