Daniel, the last sane person on Capitol Hill also said: “This is not one nation under God.” And she is so right. So why do Christians recite the Pledge of Allegiance? They are speaking a lie when they say it. Doesn’t the Bible condemn lying? And why especially do they recite it in church? How disgusting. I have just stood there with my arms at my sides and my mouth closed when I had the misfortune of being in churches that engaged in this ridiculous practice. If looks could kill, I would be dead right now several times over.
