Gary:  At a social gathering a number of years ago, someone asked me: “if you could come back to earth as any person other than yourself, who would it be?”  Without hesitating I answered: “Carlo Ponti.” “Who is Carlo Ponti?,” I was asked. “He was a great Italian film producer,” I replied.  “He produced such films as Dr. Zhivago,” I added.  Someone else chimed in: “Wasn’t he married to Sophia Loren?”
