Laurence:  Can we expect American politicians and other statists to begin plumping for a wall separating Canada from the United States?  Not for the purpose of preventing marijuana from coming into the U.S. – as would be the stated rationale – but to keep Americans in America; to prevent them from leaving?  We might otherwise see a repeat of the Vietnam War years, when young Americans who did not want to be drafted into that war escaped to the relative freedom of Canada.
