The death of Jim Sadowsky is, indeed, quite sad. I first became acquainted with him through my dear friend Jim Martin. The two Jims were very close friends. I finally met him, in person, some 35 years ago at a conference at Fordham. He was later teaching at Loyola Marymount University out here, and Jane and I took him out to a most enjoyable dinner. He was a super-class individual with a clear mind who, like Murray, Jim Martin, and countless others, are difficult to give up.
