A careful review of the Michigan exit polls buttresses the point I’ve been making for a year now: Ron Paul is the Republicans’ best chance to stop Hillary and her plans to destroy the American health care system for the next fifty years. (Name a government program that was repealed. Okay, CETA. Oops, CETA wasn’t repealed; it was replaced by programs that Romney, McCain and Huckabee LOVE!)
He does well among young people, the working class, independents, liberals, secularists, those who oppose the war, and those concerned about the economy. All those groups are much larger factors in the general election than in Republican primaries.
“The only Republican who can win in November.” I can think of worse slogans. Not to mention issues like global warming and the Real ID where Ron stands alone against big government Ginrichian conservatism.
