Today’s Wall Street Journal has two large articles assuring us that our economic policy is finally on the right track, and that all will be well. The authors are Sen. Chuck Schumer and Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke. Here’s a challenge: Can anyone think of any institution other than the two that these two characters represent — the Democrats in Congress and the Fed — that is MORE responsible for the current economic debacle?
