The tiny Dutch island has been subjected to the full power of those adjuncts of the US state, FOX and friends, and there is growing resentment. There apparently was a horrific crime, and the missing girl’s mother wants her daughter’s body found, and the guilty punished. Good for her. But there are horrific crimes in Alabama too, and they get no massive press attention.
