Yesterday, the Washington Post reported that a White House document showed that major oil company executives did indeed meet with Dick Cheney in early 2001. Some members of Congress, those who have been salivating over oil company profits as if there is such a thing a “too much profit” and as if they are entitled to share, are using this as a chance to bash the oil firms once more.
