Palin’s out, no big surprise. The real question is how does it affect Ron Paul? Definitely a plus. The race will come down to Romney versus an anti-establishment, populist, libertarian candidate who can gain the support of real tea partiers. Obviously, it’s a no-brainer who that person is, but Palin would have competed for voters who need to line up behind Ron Paul.
