I love it when the morons in the mainstream media announce (when referring to the latest inflation data), “Other than food, gas, and rent, prices haven’t risen.” Right—why worry about the rising costs of most people’s basic needs when a vacation cruise and the Ferrari that most people can’t afford are at the same prices that they were last year? Of course, we know two families in particular for whom the above sentence actually holds true. (HINT: The same two families that are causing the inflation for their benefit.)
