This morning NBC News interviewed an Iraqi man who said, looking right into the camera, “The Iraqi people were oppressed under Saddam Hussein; now they are oppressed by the occupation.” Obviously, this man needs to be sent to the Claremont Institute for a month of reindoctrination in “Hard Wilsonianism” and the unquestioned virtue of anything and everything the U.S. government does. He’ll come out quoting Abraham Lincoln, singing the Battle Hymn of the Republic, and praising his new masters.
