Occupied Iraq is a Bloody Mess

Tonight, Bush will Bragg, with his audience, Soviet-like, forced to applaud him. But, writes Patrick Cockburn in The Indepedent, “Most of Iraq is today a bloody no-man’s land beset by ruthless insurgents, savage bandit gangs, trigger-happy US patrols and marauding government forces.” And: “All the roads leading out of the capital are cut.
