Obama really believes in government and he’ll figure out a way to make it bigger and more active. Recently, he explicitly endorsed US involvement in the failed drug war in Colombia as well as US involvement in that country’s ancient civil war. For the people of Colombia – who have suffered at the hands of killers of every sort – that means battling all sources of violence.
