A few years ago on this blog, in Greenpeace to advocate nuking the earth?, I wondered mostly tongue in cheek whether global warmers—sorry, climate changers—would advocate using the phenomenon of nuclear winter to combat global warming. Now comes a NASA study claiming “Small Nuclear War Could Reverse Global Warming for Years,” because of the nuclear winter effect. They don’t go so far as to endorse this as a way to cool things down, but given the fanaticism and statism of the warmers, is it only a matter of time before they do?
