Pro-abortionists in DC are upset that under the new budget deal, DC will be banned from using local funds to pay for abortions for poor women. Anti-abortionists are understandably happy that this has happened. But there is a larger issue here, and one that most pro-lifers never consider: The government shouldn’t pay for any medical “procedure”: no abortions, no medicare, no medicaid, no SCHIP, no block grants to the states to pay for health care, not even a baby aspirin.
