Nevada Sen. Harry Reid is once again promoting anti-competitive, “protectionist” policies. He has stated that “the time has come for us to outlaw prostitution.” What he means, of course, is that the voluntarily conducted prostitution in Las Vegas should be prohibited, so as to protect the duly-elected “hookers” in Washington, D.C., where the practice is not only legal, but the essence of patriotism!
