National Review’s Humiliation – And Spite – Continues

NR was pilloried by Trump, en passant, when he uttered the forbidden word: Bush’s war in Iraq was wrong. The ire intensified when Trump forced NR fave Jeb! to admit it too.

NR backed that war to the hilt, and raised tons of money off of it. Obedient little apparatchiks, they sputtered about us antiSemites, traitors, and bigots, who have now been proven right.

Pity them.

These days NR  pretends to preach principle. Curious that NR has never criticized Bush-Cheney for their silence about the plight of Christians by the millions in the Middle East – suffering which Christian prelates there blame squarely on Bush’s folly.

That “good Christian” Bush caused the misery of millions of Christians. NR just can’t handle it. So they’re silent (no money to be made there!).

Bush’s wars made hundreds of billions for tens of thousands. NR’s ardent support of the War Party paid off handsomely.

Was NR bribed? We’ll know at the Last Judgment. In the meantime, in view of their latest tirade here, if they were bribed, at least they’ve stayed bribed.
