Here is my Thomas Sowell story. I tell it on the occasion of his 90th birthday. When he sent me his initial contribution to this book which I edited, Sowell, Thomas. 1982. “Weber and Bakke and the presuppositions of ‘Affirmative Action,’” Discrimination, Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity, Walter E.
