An economist was asked, “How’s your wife?” Came the response: “Compared to what?” Sure Obama is a warmonger. Sure, he is no follower of Murray Rothbard and Ron Paul on the libertarian analysis and prescriptions for foreign policy (bring all troops home, asap, keep them here, and allow them to fight defensive wars only, at least in the view of the latter; go look up the views of the former). However, with President McCain the US would have likely by now nuked, oh, half a dozen countries, and invaded a score more. With President Romney, the US might have nuked merely a few countries, and only invaded, say, a dozen. Thank goodness for Obama, say I. I supported my man Obama against each of these Republican maniacs and I’m glad I did.
