Mueller’s 2-page letter to Barr, like Barr’s letter, fed the voracious appetites of the anti-Trump forces. Having failed to nail Trump with smoking guns of collusion or conspiracy or obstruction of Mueller’s inquiries, they are keeping their soft coup attempts alive by now attacking Barr. Mueller’s letter gave them a pretext, a focal point to make up some new fiction. Mueller’s letter contains no substance whatsoever to support any attacks of substance on Barr, any more than Barr’s 4-page letter did.
