The Muck Stops Here

In what has more than metaphorical significance for us all, the Clinton Campaign bus stopped in a Georgia city to empty its toilets on the city streets. The Clintonistas try to excuse the act on the ground of its being “an honest mistake.” If it’s only a “mistake,” then what was the intended site for the disposal of this entropic human waste? If I should urinate on my neighbor’s lawn, would I be able to avoid the consequences of my act by calling it “an honest mistake?”
