So the FDA continues its war on painkillers. This is partly because state officials love control. But I think we cannot ignore the nature of the people who rise to state power. They like inflicting pain. They like caging human beings. They like killing. They like wars. They like ruining lives through the police state and the surveillance state. Just don’t forget to pledge allegiance to them.
