Bill and Anthony each raise excellent points. I have heard a great deal of babbling on this issue by the politicians and their media clones about the “sanctity of life.” But life is self-directed activity, and all of politics is premised upon forcing life to go in directions it does not choose to. All of politics, then, is a rejection of the sanctity of life. From a libertarian perspective, this matter could be easily resolved.
