I have been a member of a monthly free-market and liberty discussion and dinner group for a very long time. Many of its members have been great champions of liberty; Murray Rothbard has been among our honored guests.
There are apparently a few similar groups scattered around the country. A group in San Francisco is named in honor of Rothbard. The Phoenix group is named after Leonard Read, its mission drawn from Read’s injunction that we all seek to make ourselves brighter candles of liberty in the midst of the collectivist darkness.
Someone in Encino has asked if I could help him find a similar Mises/Austrian/libertarian group in L.A.
