Last I recall the name Max Borders, it was attached to a war-whooping essay sailing under the auspices of a great old libertarian organization. Now he tells us that the Libertarian Party, to save itself, must come out for a national sales tax (a plot that nearly unraveled several GOP house elections) and otherwise cease to “cling to their principled wordview.” A few more essays like this and he’ll secure the position of our own libertarian Wormwood.
