Massacring Costco’s Maskerade

Because of its smut and Marxism—but I repeat myself—, I despise Hollywood and its personnel. The actors, the directors, the producers: all have eviscerated our country’s morals, both personal and public.

Ergo, I’m always shocked when one of that sewer’s products shows himself to be a true star. The latest example comes from an article Dave Darby forwarded about an actor named Ricky Schroder, whom Variety identifies as a “former child star.” (Hmmm: as his photo now shows an adult, I might have figured out that he “formerly” was a child. Ah, well, that’s the level of intellect among the players out there.)

As the piece continues, so does Variety’s deft abuse of the English language as well as its unbiased journalism: Mr. Schoder “harass[ed] a Costco employee after they [sic] wouldn’t let him enter the store without a mask.”

Seems to me it’s the other way ‘round, with the employee[s] harassing this customer.

Schroder asked a Costco employee why he

Ah, Consistency, as we switch from plural pronouns to singular.

wouldn’t let him into the store unmasked.

“Because in the state of California and the county of Los Angeles, and Costco, there has been no change to our mask policy,” the employee, whose name is Jason, said.

“Yes there has been. You didn’t see the news? Nationwide Costco has said you don’t need to wear masks,” Schroder replied, referencing the recent news that Costco is no longer requiring masks inside their stores.

However, the no-mask policy only applies within states and jurisdictions that no longer have a mask mandate. California and Los Angeles County both still require masks inside establishments.

Thank you for so implicitly supporting fascism here, Variety

But I interrupted our propagandist:

Actually, that’s not accurate,” Jason said. “What is accurate is that Costco always goes above and beyond when following the law, and the mandate in California has not changed.”

Well, bully for Costco. I suppose when Jim Crow kept blacks from eating at lunch counters, Costco went “above and beyond the law” then, too, and prevented even whites with deep tans from partaking.

What a load of bovine excrement!

Schroder then launched into an anti-mask rant, saying: “Oh if they allow us? If they grant us that, our kings? The people in power? You’re going to listen to these people? They’ve destroyed our economy. They’re destroying our culture. They’re destroying our state. And you’re just going to listen to their rules? I’m getting my refund. I’m getting my refund from Costco. I suggest everybody in California get their refund from Costco. Give up your membership to Costco until they remove this.”

An “anti-mask rant”? How about a shining defense of liberty?!! Dang right, Mr. S! You go, guy!

Pardon me while I go buy a Costco membership just so I can demand a refund!

Jason kept his composure,

Maybe Variety is hoping to earn a PhD in brainwashing, because it’s certainly piling it on higher and deeper.

simply responding that “this hasn’t changed in any building, in California, in any company that I’m aware of. The places I shop still require masks. But that’s not the point. The point is that Costco is simply abiding by the law.”

Indeed. How fortunate that American law is always fair and admirable!

Variety concludes its attempted assassination of our hero with this tidbit—one which redounds to Mr. Schroder’s further and considerable credit:

Schroder has been a continuous subject of controversy due to his beliefs. In November 2020, it was revealed that Schroder had donated an undisclosed amount of money to the bail fund of Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old gunman accused of killing two protesters in August in Kenosha, Wis.

Now, lest we suffer any more twaddle about the fascist fast one The Usurper’s administration has pulled, in which it suborns “private” companies to enforce COVIDCon while alleged libertarians claim said enterprises should cooperate as they please with the State, here’s Matt Trewhella on the subject, courtesy of David Mueller:

The idea that ‘a private business in America can do whatever it wants’ is utterly ridiculous. When you open for business you bring yourself under a massive body of law, regulation, and policy – and every businessman knows this. So please – take your slogans for what they are – mere slogans.

Also – nearly every “private business” in America has sucked from the state’s teat by taking massive sums of money. Money taken from the people via taxes. So much for private.

Not to mention – the private sector is being used by the state to affect this ‘tyranny via a virus.’ Biden has made clear that his “administration and the private sector are working together to require vaccination.” That is tyranny. The businessmen and the state working together to tyrannize the people. And this is being implemented by state and county governments also – all via the private sector.

The prophets often addressed both the civil authorities and the businessmen as they often work together to accomplish evil in the land.

The truth is the magistrates should be defending our rights to do business freely – but they are not because they are tyrants and they see this as a means to further their tyranny.

Here in Wisconsin our laws are clear – no one can make you get the covid “vaccine,” nor can you be compelled to release private medical information.

Also federal law is clear you cannot be compelled to take a vaccine that has not been approved by the FDA – which the covid vaccine has not it has only received EUA approval.

Men fought bled and died for freedom in America. And I aim to maintain it.

Thank you, sir. Pray God will raise up more men with chests like Ricky Schroder to fight alongside you.
