There seem too be no limits to the economic ignorance and corruption of politicians in Maryland, a state that is plagued by the putrid D.C./government employee union culture that dominates politics in the state. The latest absurdity is that Governor Martin O’Malley, sounding a lot like an early twentieth-century communist, announced — get this — a new “Five Year Plan” for the state’s economy.
