Mandatory Reading for the Incoming Freshman Class?

Many universities distribute a book to every incoming freshman as part of freshman orientation.  They are then required to attend a book-discussion group led by a faculty member. It’s usually some far-left tract about why we need a super minimum wage, a bigger welfare state, the evils and immorality of economic freedom and the virtues of socialism, etc.

This new “study” of the Stalin era in the Soviet Union would seem to be the perfect choice for this fall’s freshman class.  The lying little communist punks at Florida Atlantic University are probably already planning their “We Love Stalin” rally for September.
