Whenever I hear a president or the government tell me they’re going to make me “safe” or make America “safe”, I know there’s some new McPolice McState law coming down the pipe. How quick we forget that who trades essential liberty for temporary safety deserves neither one. First, I don’t need or want the government to “protect” me.
