LRC is Escaping the Stranglehold of Mainstream Advertising

But we must have your help! The fact of the matter is that it costs money to operate LewRockwell.com, and revenue over the past couple of years has plummeted because of the stranglehold placed on our affiliate accounts by the big tech companies. Our corporate overlords, hardly indistinguishable from our government taskmasters, have launched a full-on war against dissenting views and, as expected, LRC has been caught squarely in the crosshairs! This constant and increasing onslaught of attacks from the left and mainstream media has only served to temper our resolve in presenting news that questions the approved narrative and is all but ignored by the MSM.

By now everyone on the internet knows about the censoring of Alex Jones and the libertarian purge from popular social media platforms a few weeks ago. While this senseless censorship is infuriating in its own right, at least it was done openly. The real war being waged is the one not visible to the casual user, it’s the war on revenue. The vast majority of censorship is in the slow death-squeeze put on the affiliate accounts that sites like LRC rely on for the majority of their funding. Due to the restrictions placed on our accounts by big tech (and thanks to operating agreements I can’t name names, but you know who they are), our monetizeable content has dropped by almost half in the past year, with much of that being relegated to secondary advertisers that pay a fraction of what the big firms do. The censorship war is truly being fought in the shadows by bureaucratic tech conglomerates deep in the pocket of the deep state who are hell-bent on censoring free speech.

Personally, I’m sick of censorship hidden in the form of ever-changing “associate agreements”. LRC is determined to break our dependence on these revenue streams, but we need your help! I know many of our loyal readers have their own successful businesses, and I am asking you to advertise with us directly. Whether you have an online t-shirt shop or a local restaurant in Auburn, Alabama, we can provided targeted delivery of your ad to a like-minded, smart, and geographically relevant audience on a daily basis. Now, Amazon and Google ads aren’t going to disappear from LRC tomorrow, but over time and with your help, I’m confident we can move further and further away from them and provide a valuable advertising avenue for our many successful readers. We have a variety of banner, in-article, and newsletter sponsorships available and solutions to fit most budgets. Email me directly, wes@lewrockwell.com, and let’s make a deal!
